Groomed in the newsrooms of dailies, my old school work ethics hold good even in today’s tweet-a-minute news output. My work today has adapted and expanded to include a range of media platforms.

 

Featured in publications around the world, both in print and online, my work is best described as in-depth, purposeful reporting on issues that impact lives and influence decisions.   

 

From magazine-style writing to specialised features that offer sound research and insight linking text to context, right through to technology-driven reporting from crowd-sourced news to social media, my work has been commissioned by organisations and individuals with varied interests.

 

I focus on issues that overlap social evolution and economic growth, so human interest stories and developmental journalism are my forte.

 

Working across Asia and the Middle East with particular expertise in Qatar and the GCC region, my reporting has pursued themes that range from human rights and gender issues to social development and business, through which I engage multiple audiences.

 

As an Editor, I've conceived, launched and managed a host of publications, several of which are leaders in their sectors.
